GIRONA PYRENEES

The landscape of the Gironi Pyrenees is located to the north of Cerdanya, Ripollès, Garrotxa and part of the Alt Empordà.

In the regions at higher altitudes, such as Cerdanya or Ripollès, there are five ski resorts: four alpine ski resorts (La Molina, Masella, Vall de Núria and Vallter 2000) and one Nordic ski resort (Guils-Fontaneda). Without going any further, the Alp 2500 domain connects La Molina and Masella and is one of the most important ski areas in the Pyrenees. In summer, ski resorts become leisure and mountain activities centres, where you can enjoy sports such as hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, horse riding and others.

But also, in the Girona Pyrenees there are rested valleys such as Cerdanya or Camprodon valley and magical places such as Vall de Núria, only accessible on foot or with the beautiful rack railway. Puigmal stands out, the highest and most emblematic peak.
